Rare Black Shungite Pendant. 5% Carbon from Kazakhstan (does not conduct electricity). Bali Silver

This is a Bali silver rare shungite pendant necklace wire wrapped with sterling silver wire and Bali silver bead. Bali beads are handmade beads by the world renowned silversmiths of Bali. Bali silver is up to 99% silver but is not hallmarked or stamped.
This Shungite, is from Kazakhstan and contains 5% carbon, therefore can't conduct electricity as the carbon content is too low.

FOLKLORE
Shungite is found in Karelia, Northern Caucasus and Kazakhstan. The constitution of Shungite from different places is not the same. It depends on the amount of carbon, fullerenes and several minerals. Shungite from Karelia has a high carbon content (in the ranges 30 - 80%). Other kinds of Shungite are similar, but have much lower amounts of carbon. Only Shungite from Karelia can conduct electricity because has a high carbon content. Shungite from Kazakhstan cannot conduct electricity because of the lower carbon content (5 %).
Shungite is estimated to be 2 billion years old. Its found in very ancient layers of the Earth’s crust, formed before life forms existed on Earth.
Shungite is believed to have healing powers incomparable to any other. Shungite is said to purify, protect, balance, induce recovery and promote growth in living organisms. Shungite is considered an excellent source of protection from harmful electromagnetic radiation from computers, microwave ovens, TV sets, mobile phones, etc.
